Bio:Owner of Wolf Song Acres and trainer, Monica Grove, was first introduced to horses at the age of 4 during the wedding of a family family friend where she did her first trail ride through the mountains of North Carolina. Since that day, Monica has been hooked on horses. Family friends all told her parents “it’s just a faze, she’ll grow out of it.” But here we are 24 years later and Monica has turned that “faze” into her profession. Having competition experience in many disciplines, such as: hunters, jumpers, eventing, traditional dressage, western dressage, driven dressage, combined driving events, pleasure driving, ranch riding, working cow horse and reining has made her a very well rounded, versatile trainer with the ability to help all riders in their chosen disciplines.Monica has experience in starting young horses from the ground through to competition while also having a reputation for being great with challenging problem horses. Monica’s favorite quotes to use when training are “You cannot expect a horse to listen to a whisper if you only train with shouts,” and “If you improve by one percent every ride, then after one hundred rides, you will have improved one hundred percent”Wolf Song Acres is located in Collinwood, Tennessee.
