Georgie grew up with horses, being the daughter of a Cavalryman. She and her husband own a small ranch in Morgan Mill, Texas and raise Morgan horses. She was a director of the American Morgan Horse Association for 27 years, 6 of which she sat as president. Currently she is a director of the United States Equestrian Federation and the USA Equestrian Trust. As a retired educator, she is always interested in expanding people’s learning experiences and feels that Western Dressage is a perfect venue for horse persons that are interested in the horse and its training.
Georgie’s husband, both of her daughters and her three grand daughters ride and exhibit the Morgans. Her grandson is active in the Horseman’s Association at Tarleton State University in Texas with his quarter horses.
